WHAT IS IT FOR

Balto – Dog Elbow Brace – BT SOFT is designed to protect the dog in cases of hygromas, sores, calluses on the elbow and bursitis.

The brace is also ideal for use in the presence of conditions such as arthritis, arthrosis or elbow dysplasia. This is because the compression it provides increases the blood pressure in the area, thus raising the temperature and reducing the pain caused by the conditions. It keeps the injured area compressed and is extremely efficient also to protect medications applied to the skin after surgery.

SIZES AND MEASUREMENTS

Please measure your dog from elbow to Elbow OVER THE BACK.
Basically this is the length of the brace going from one elbow to the other.

    My boy Huey, a 7 month old 80 pound Rottie was suffering from elbow dysplasia. I ordered this brace hoping it would help him. It did. It arrived in a timely manner, was easy to fit and he did not mind wearing it. I saw an improvement in his limp when he was wearing the brace. He had surgery today at a specialty veterinary clinic by an orthopedic vet who said since his other elbow was unaffected he most likely injured himself. No malformations of the joint just a broken piece of bone that needed to be removed. The orthopedic vet was very pleased with the brace and said he should continue to wear it after surgery. She said there may be some swelling but since the brace is fully adjustable that was fantastic and would work well. Thank you for this amazing brace!
